Biography:

Amanda Holden was born on February 16, 1971 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK. She became passionate about acting as a kid. So, at age 9 she joined Bishop’s Waltham Little Theatre Company. She made her acting debut in 1994 in an episode of EastEnders. Her next acting gig came two years later with the Canadian-British film Intimate Relations.

She went to have notable roles on the TV shows Kiss Me Kate, The Grimleys, Hearts and Bones, and Cutting It. She also played the titular character on the short-lived British sitcom Mad About Alice. She got more recognized on TV for her role on the TV series Wild at Heart. By 2007, she was already a TV personality. This was courtesy of her judging stint on the reality show Britain’s Got Talent.
