Biography:
Paul Rudd was born on April 6, 1969 in Passaic, New Jersey, U.S. He attended the University of Kansas and studied Jacobean drama for three months at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, UK.
He made his television debut with the drama Sisters where he played the role of Kirby Quimby Philby from 1992 to 1995. He became known for his other roles on the small screen such as the part of Mike Hannigan in Friends.
In film, he is best known for his roles in comedy and romantic comedy features including Clueless, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and many others.
