Film and television star Abigail Spencer‘s career dates back in the late ’90s. Her first acting stint was on the soap opera All My Children. In the 2000s, she had minor roles in films and guest parts on TV shows. She went on to play the lead on the short-lived series Angela’s Eyes. She then became more prominent for her recurring roles on Mad Men and Hawthorne. After playing a role on Suits, she joined the main cast of Rectify as Amantha Holden. The said role earned her a Critics’ Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. A of 2016, she stars on the TV series Timeless. She has appeared in several films, too. This includes Cowboys & Aliens, This Means War andOz the Great and Powerful.
Spencer maintains her vibrant look and svelte physique by observing a healthy lifestyle. Despite her busy life as a mother and an actress with a regular gig on TV, she does not allow herself to be complacent. She eats right and protects her body by exercising regularly. Being in her mid 30s, she knows how important it is to stay fit. This is not to only look physically great, but to be healthy in and out as well. Her workouts also allow her to have the energy she needs to perform her daily tasks more efficiently.
On the other hand, she revealed that although she used to workout very often before, now is different after she had her son. She said: “I used to work out all the time, but after I had my son I was like ‘no more’. I’ve only done Pilates since I had my son — I gained 40 pounds of pregnancy weight and lost of all of it without dieting. I’m in way better shape than I was before my pregnancy!”
