Adelaide Clemens was born on November 30, 1989 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She started working in Australian television as an actress while still a high school student.

She made her acting debut in an episode of Blue Water High, playing the role of Juliet in 2006. She starred in the children’s show Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji the following year.

She has since appeared in such films as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Wasted on the Young, Certainty, and Camilla Dickinson. In 2013, she played the role of Catherine in The Great Gatsby.
