Biography:
Adrien Brody was born on April 14, 1973 in Woodhaven, New York City, New York. He made his theatrical debut as Mel in the 1989 film New York Stories when he was around 16. For the rest of the 1990s, he has played small to supporting roles in several films, gaining notice in Terrence Malick’s The Thin Red Line.
In 2002, he achieved worldwide acclaim for his lead role in Roman Polanski’s The Pianist, earning him several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actor at age 29, making him the only actor under 30 years old to ever do so. He has since acted in The Village, King Kong, Cadillac Records, Midnight in Paris, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.
