Biography:

Aimee-Ffion Edwards was born on 21 November 1987 in Newport, Wales. She studied drama during her school years, leading her to join the National Youth Theatre of Wales. In 2008, she made her television debut in the British show Skins. She later made guest appearances in Being Human and Luther.

In 2013, she became further known for her role as Esme Shelby in BBC’s Peaky Blinders. The following year, she made her cinematic debut in the feature film Queen and Country. From 2014 to 2017, she also played Sophie in the TV series Detectorists. Also, she portrayed Elizabeth Barton in the TV serial Wolf Hall, as well as played Cassandra in the miniseries Troy: Fall of a City.
