Biography:

Aiysha Hart was born on 8 August 1990 in London, England. She attended the King’s College London where she studied English Literature. In 2013, she made her film debut in the Emirati movie Djinn. That same time, she starred as Ariadne in the British-American series Atlantis, which she played from 2013 to 2015.

She simultaneously starred in the 2014 film Honour. After Atlantis, she starred as Leila in the short-lived series New Blood. Hart then became widely known for her role as DS Sam Railston in the BBC series Line of Duty, which she’s been playing since 2016. Also, she currently plays Miriam in the TV program A Discovery of Witches. She went on to appear in the films Colette and Hope Gap.
