Biography:

Akshara Gowda was born on December 24, 1989 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She studied at The New Cambridge High School and completed her pre-college studies at the Vijaya Junior College in Bangalore.

She then attended SKIT College where she took up Engineering. In 2011, she made her acting debut in the Tamil film Uyarthiru 420. That same year, she appeared in Chitkabrey – The Shades of Grey.

In 2012, she made a special appearance in the movie Thuppakki. The following year, she made her Bollywood debut playing the role of Jasmine in the feature Rangrezz. She also starred in another Tamil film entitled Arrambam.
