Biography:

Akshara Haasan was born on 12 October 1991 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She attended Indus International School in Bangalore. She started her career in the movies behind the camera. This was because she worked as an assistant director to Rahul Dholakia in 2010’s Society. It starred her mother, Sarika.

In 2015, she made her Bollywood debut as an actress in the film Shamitabh. She starred in the film alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. She’s currently filming the Tamil feature Vivegam. She will also star in the 2017 upcoming film Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana.
