Biography:

Alessandro Nivola was born on June 28, 1972 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He attended Yale University where he received a degree in English literature.

He then started his acting career while an undergraduate at Yale, winning the leading role in a Seattle production of Athol Fugard’s “Master Harold”…and the Boys.

In 1995, he made his Broadway debut in A Month in the Country. He then went on to land his first film role in the 1997 movie Face/Off, followed by Inventing the Abbotts.

He has since starred in such films as Jurassic Park III, Junebug, The Sisters, Goal! and The Eye, among others.
