Bollywood actor Ali Fazal had his career beginnings in 2008. His debut was a special appearance in the Indian-American film The Other End of the Line. He next appeared in the film Ek Tho Chance, as well as played Joy Lobo in 3 Idiots. He also appeared in 3 episodes of the television series Bollywood Hero.
In the 2010s, he landed roles in such films as Always Kabhi Kabhi, Baat Ban Gayi, Bobby Jasoos, Sonali Cable, and Khamoshiyan. Fazal also became known for his role as Zafar in the Hindi film Fukrey, a role he reprised in the sequel Fukrey Returns. In 2015, he made his Hollywood debut, appearing as Safar in Furious 7. After this, he starred in the Bollywood film Happy Bhag Jayegi.
Later in 2017, he co-starred in the English film Victoria & Abdul, starring alongside Judi Dench. He went on to star in the Hindi movies Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi, Milan Talkies, Prassthanam, and House Arrest. He will also star in the upcoming Hollywood feature Death on the Nile. Also, Fazal starred as Govind ‘Guddu’ Pandit in the Prime Video series Mirzapur.
Thanks to a vigorous workout routine, Ali Fazal has since gone through a physical transformation. He’s surely gained muscles and greater strength. To do this, he trained extensively. Even when he has no access to a gym, the actor finds a way to continue his fitness regimen.
“You can always do squats and push-ups. In fact, I enjoy doing a hundred push-ups and squats each day as they are a complete exercise in themselves,” said the actor. Running and cycling are also some of his go-to workouts. He would even get up early in the morning just to spend some time cycling. “It’s a fun activity if you do it in a group. Early morning is the best time as Mumbai roads get cluttered with traffic later,” he explained.
