Biography:

Alycia Debnam-Carey was born on July 20, 1993 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She was a percussionist while attending the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts where she graduated in 2011. Initially, she started acting at a young age, first appearing in short films. In 2006, she made her television debut in the Australian series McLeod’s Daughters.

In the next few years, she’s had a few acting gigs in more short films and TV shows. Her career took off recently in 2014 after landing roles in the movies Into the Storm and The Devil’s Hand, earning her recognition. Around the same time, she began playing the recurring part of Commander Lexa in The 100. She now plays Alicia Clark in Fear the Walking Dead.
