Biography:

Amanda Clayton was born in October 1981 in Johnston, Rhode Island, United States. She studied acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. In 2006, she made her film debut in December Ends. Her next roles were in some short films. Her acting career in the 2010s became busier with guest roles in The Mentalist, Rizzoli & Isles, Victorious, and The Soul Man.

In 2012, she played Sarah Carter in the movie John Carter. Her first main role on television came as Alex Montgomery in the soap opera If Loving You Is Wrong, which she still plays up to present. Her next roles were in the movies Bleed for This and The Bet. She went on to star in the independent films Bad Frank and Cradle Swapping. She’ll star as Cathy Ryan in the upcoming series City on a Hill.
