Amanda Righetti was born on April 4, 1983 in St. George, Utah, USA. She was first discovered in the International Cover Model Search at the age of 15. She had a successful modeling career before becoming an actress.

From 2003 to 2005, she played the role of Hailey Nichol in The O.C. She then secured the lead role of Tessa Lewis in 2004’s North Shore.

In 2006, she landed the female lead in the horror film Return to House on Haunted Hill, as well as in the slasher reboot of Friday the 13th in 2008.

As of 2008, she plays the role of Grace Van Pelt in The Mentalist.
