Amara Karan is a British actress. She had her career beginnings in the mid-2000s. Her first role was as Rita in the 2007 film The Darjeeling Limited. That same year, she appeared in an episode of The Bill. She also had a role in the movie St Trinian’s. She next appeared in an episode of Agatha Christie’s Poirot. In the 2010s, she guest-starred in Doctor Who and played Carrie Heath in several episodes of the miniseries Kidnap and Ransom.
