Amber Marshall was born on June 2, 1988 in London, Ontario, Canada. Prior to acting, she used to work as a veterinary assistant. She’s also an equestrian. In 2000, she made her television debut in the TV series Super Rupert. She next guest-starred in the shows Twice in a Lifetime and Doc. She next had a role in the TV movie The Christmas Shoes.

She next played the titular character in the TV film The Elizabeth Smart Story. In 2004, she made her film debut in Resident Evil: Apocalypse. At the same time, she guest-starred in the TV shows Dark Oracle and The Power Strikers. In 2007, she started playing the role of Amy Fleming in the long-running series Heartland. In 2014, she had a role in the movie Mutant World.
