Biography:
Amy Manson was born on 9 September 1985 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She received her training from the Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2007, she made her film debut in Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud. That same year, she also acted on television for the first time, guest-appearing in an episode of The Bill. She went on to play Alice Guppy in the sci-fi drama Torchwood, after which she portrayed Lizzie Siddal in the period drama Desperate Romantics.
In 2010, she appeared as Daisy in some episodes of Being Human. She then played Fleur Morgan in the TV series Outcasts. Later in 2014, she starred as Medea in Atlantis, as well as played Merida in Once Upon a Time. In 2017, she played Cathy Gordon in The White Princess. This year, Manson gained wider recognition for her role as Maladie in The Nevers.
