Biography:
Amy Pietz was born on March 6, 1969 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S. She graduated from DePaul University’s The Theatre School. In 1993, she debuted in the movie Rudy. That same year, she also had her first TV role in Missing Persons. Two years later, she starred as Bronwyn Jones in the sitcom Muscle. After it ended, she became known for her role as Annie Spadaro in the NBC sitcom Caroline in the City.
She also starred in the 1996 film Jingle All the Way. In the 2000s, she first played Melissa Taylor in The Weber Show. She next starred as Charlie in Rodney, followed by another regular role as Franny Tolchuck in the sitcom Aliens in America. In 2010, Pietz went on to play Donna Newton in The Office, after which she played Meredith King in The Nine Lives of Chloe King. Her recent main roles on TV were as Deirdre Hackmeyer in The CW’s No Tomorrow and as Meg Swallow in Audience’s Hit the Road.
