Angus Macfadyen is a Scottish actor. He debuted in the 1991 TV movie The Lost Language of Cranes, then appeared in 5 episodes of Soldier Soldier. In 1995, he portrayed Richard Burton in the TV film Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story. He also played Peter Lawford in another TV movie, The Rat Pack. In the movies, he had his first role as Robert the Bruce in Braveheart. He has since appeared in the films Nevada and Snide and Prejudice, among others. In the 2000s, he had performances in the movies Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Equilibrium, and Redline. He also became known for his role as Jeff Denlon in Saw III and Saw IV. In the 2010s, he starred as Robert Rogers in AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies. He next played Allan Pinkerton in the Canadian series The Pinkertons. In 2019, he appeared as Aleister Crowley in the web series Strange Angel.
