Biography:
Anjali Jay was born on 9 August 1969 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She completed her college degree, having attended Mount Carmel College. She is a professional dancer who received training in Bharatanatyam and contemporary dance. She traveled to the UK after getting a scholarship for her MA degree. This led her to start her acting career there. In 2003, she made her television debut on the British series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.
She next landed a one-time role on Doctors. Her first notable role on the small screen was as Djaq on Robin Hood. In 2006, she made her cinematic debut starring opposite Chris Pine in the film Blind Dating. In the 2010s, she played Jacqueline on the show Continuum, as well as played Carey Gold on iZombie. She also had roles in the films Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, The Age of Adaline, and Power Rangers. This year, she starred as Dr. Rosetta Stendahl on the CBS series Salvation.
