Biography:

Anna Akana was born on August 18, 1989 in Monterey County, California, U.S. When she was 19, she started performing mostly in the comedy genre. Her anxiety when performing on stage led her to switch to YouTube performances. Later in 2011, she had her first television role with a small part in Awkward. She then had notable appearances in such shows as The Beauty Inside and The Fosters. In 2017, she played recurring character Amanda Weston in Stitchers.

She next appeared as Paige in some episodes of Corporate. Since 2018, she has a recurring voice role in Big City Greens, as well as in Amphibia. In 2020, she started playing the role of Dakota in A Million Little Things. She then landed the part of Raikou in Jupiter’s Legacy. In the movies, she’s had performances in Ant-Man, Kids vs Monsters, Dirty 30, You Get Me, Let It Snow, and Hooking Up.
