Biography:

Anna Brewster was born on 1 January 1986 in Moseley, Birmingham, England, UK. She trained in acting at the Birmingham School of Speech and Drama. She had her career beginnings in the 2000s. During her early years, she appeared in the 2002 film Anita and Me. Her next work was in the British biographical film Mrs Henderson Presents.

Brewster next starred in the miniseries Nearly Famous, playing the role of Kate Sherman. After this, she portrayed Anne Stafford in the Showtime series The Tudors. She went on to make notable guest roles in The Royal and Luther, as well as had a performance in the horror film The Reeds. In 2015, she played a small role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Back on TV, she became famous for her role as Françoise-Athénaïs, Marquise de Montespan in the TV series Versailles
