Biography:

Anna Gunn was born on August 11, 1968 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, U.S.. She graduated with a theater degree. She has also trained at the British American Drama Academy. She began her acting career in the early 1990s, making her first TV appearance in Quantum Leap. From 1992 to 1993, she played the role of Arden in Down the Shore. In the mid 1990s, she’s had recurring roles in NYPD Blue and Murder One.

She then gained further recognition for her role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Her next significant role came in the mid 2000s, starring as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Continued success came in the late 2000s after landing the role of Skylar White in Breaking Bad. Her performance was well-received, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013. She won the same award the following year.
