Anna Shaffer was born on 15 March 1992 in London, England, UK. She got her acting start when she was cast for a role in Harry Potter in 2007. This was the role of Romilda Vane in the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This was released in 2009. She has since reprised her roles in the sequels.

First is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. She played the role again in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Afterwards, she landed the role of Ruby Button on the British show Hollyoaks. She played the said role from 2011 to 2014. She has also guest starred on the TV shows Glue and Clueless.
