Anthony Daniels is an English actor. He started his acting career in the 1970s, debuting as C-3PO in 1977’s Star Wars. He next reprised his role in the 1980s sequels The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. On television, he starred in the TV movie The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady. In the ’90s up to the 2000s, he continued playing C-3PO in the Star Wars prequel trilogy Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. More recently, Daniels reprised his role as the humanoid robot in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
