Biography:

Anton Yelchin was born on March 11, 1989 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He was only six months old when he and his family relocated to the US. Initially, he started acting when he was nine in the indie movie A Man is Mostly Water. His role in the movie Along Came A Spider was his first gig in a well-known project. He continued acting in the next years, appearing in the movies Alpha Dog and Fierce People.

His first notable role was as Pavel Chekov in Star Trek, then as Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation. It was, however, his starring role in Like Crazy that earned him recognition and acclaim. Since then, he has starred in Fright Night, The Beaver, and reprised his role as Pavel in Star Trek Into Darkness. His most recent work in movies are Burying the Ex, 5 to 7, and The Driftless Area.
