Biography:

Anushka Shetty was born on November 7, 1981 in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Super in 2005. Her breakthrough came in the movie Vikramarkudu the following year. It also became her first commercial success.

In 2006, she starred in her first Tamil film, Rendu. She then starred in several Telugu films, establishing her as one of Telugu cinema’s leading actresses.

She received her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress in the 2009 film Arundhati and followed it with another Best Actress Award for her performance in the 2010 film Vedam.
