Biography:

Archie Panjabi was born on May 31, 1972 in Edgware, UK. Though she completed a degree in Management Studies, she pursued acting and began working as an actress in the mid 1990s by appearing in short films and television shows. In 1999, she made her big screen debut in the British movie East is East. In 2002, she gained recognition for her role as Pinky in Bend It Like Beckham.

In the 2000s, she went on to appear in the movies Chromophobia, The Constant Gardener, A Good Year, A Mighty Heart, and Traitor. She also played the titular character in the 2004 movie Yasmin. In the 2010s, she received further attention for her performances in I Origins and San Andreas. From 2009 to 2015, she became popularly known for her portrayal of Kalinda Sharma in The Good Wife.
