Biography:
Arthur Darvill was born on 17 June 1982 in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. When he was 10, he participated in the Stage2 Youth Theatre Company. In 2001, he was able to create his own theater company where he performed. He moved to London to train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In 2008, he had his first significant role on TV as Edward “Tip” Dorrit on Little Dorrit.
After this, he landed the role of Rory Williams on the popular British series Doctor Who. Simultaneously, he portrayed Mick Gallagher in the movie Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. He next portrayed the part of Reverend Paul Coates on the British crime drama series Broadchurch. As of 2016, he stars as Rip Hunter on the American series Legends of Tomorrow.
