Ashley Roberts was born on September 14, 1981 in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. She first gained fame as a member of the burlesque group The Pussycat Dolls. In 2010, she left the group to pursue a solo singing and acting career.

She made her first screen appearance after The Pussycat Dolls with the Counting Crows’ music video of Accidentally in Love. She then made her film debut with the feature Make It Happen.

In 2010, she released her first solo single, a cover of “A Summer Place”. It was released on iTunes in September that year. Additionally, she competed in the reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! where she placed runner-up.
