Biography:

Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey was born on May 26, 1986 in Barcelona, Spain. She has lived in France where she began acting by performing in school plays. In her later life, she eventually began acting on French television and went on to make her film debut in 2008’s The Sea Wall.

She then gained international recognition for playing Syrena in the 2011 film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. This also marked her Hollywood debut. Her next major role came a few years later with 2014’s I Origins, in which she played the role of Sofi. She was recently cast as Guinevere in the 2016 upcoming movie Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur.
