Biography:

Audrey Esparza was born in Larado, Texas. She did her training at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She initially started acting on the stage. She performed in numerous theater productions. In 2011, she made her screen debut on the TV film Family Practice.

She then made her film debut in the low-budget feature Amateurs. She next had guest appearances on various TV shows. This includes The Americans, The Following, Blue Bloods and Golden Boy. She next had recurring roles on Power, Black Box, and Public Morals. In 2015, she began playing Tasha Zapata on Blindspot.
