Biography:

Austin Stowell was born on December 24, 1984 in Kensington, Connecticut, U.S. Following his high school graduation, he attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. There, he studied with the Department of Dramatic Arts since he was already interested in acting beforehand. During his time in the university, he performed on various stage productions.

In 2009, he made his debut in an episode of the show Secret Girlfriend. His first significant role was as Jesse on the TV series Secret Life of The American Teenager. In 2011, he made his cinematic debut in the movie Dolphin Tale as Kyle. He reprised his role in Dolphin Tale 2. In 2014, he played Ryan Connolly in the acclaimed movie Whiplash. He then became known for playing Francis Gary Powers in the movie Bridge of Spies. He has four upcoming films.
