Bella Hadid was born on October 9, 1996 in Los Angeles, California. Fellow Gigi Hadid is her older sister. She was an equestrian player during her teens and originally aspired to compete in the Olympics but was unable to because of her Lyme disease. She went on to relocate to New York City to study photography, though she signed to IMG models shortly after.

Because of the success she has experienced as a model, she decided to quit school. Initially, she was 16 when she began modeling, though it was in IMG that made her more mainstream with her debut at the New York Fashion Week. Since then, she has appeared on prominent magazines, including Seventeen, Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, W magazine, and many others. Her continuous work in the fashion industry made her more popular these days.
