Biography:
Bérénice Bejo was born on July 7, 1976 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She began her acting career in France where she grew up. In the early 2000s, she took her career to the next level when she made her Hollywood transition with the film A Knight’s Tale.
In 2011, she received widespread recognition for her portrayal of Peppy Miller in the French film The Artist, for which she won a César Award for Best Actress. She also earned Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress for the said role. Her subsequent films are The Past and The Search. In addition, she has starred in several French features, as well as some other European pictures.
