It was in 2004 that Hollywood star Bitsie Tulloch got her acting start. She made her debut in an episode of The West Wing. Her first significant role was as Alex in the series lonelygirl15. During this time, she also acted in a couple of low-budget movies. She then starred in the short-lived series Quarterlife in 2008. In the 2010s, she had recurring parts in the shows Tyranny and Outlaw.
It was also during this period that she gained mainstream recognition thanks to her role as Juliette Silverton in Grimm. She was part of the show’s main cast from 2011 to 2017. While starring on Grimm, she also acted on the big screen. Some of her movies are Losing Control, The Artist, Caroline and Jackie, and Parkland. She later performed in the features Chronic and Concussion. Her latest movie role was in 2017’s We Love You, Sally Carmichael!
She may be nearing her 40s but it doesn’t seem like aging is affecting the Grimm star. For one, she credits her healthy lifestyle to her youthful glow. Apart from proper nutrition, she also has an active lifestyle through regular workout routine. In an interview, she shared what her fitness regimen is. She said:
“I take private Pilates and gyrotonic sessions 2-3 times a week. I love Pilates because it strengthens my core and gyrotonics because it strengthens my back. I have minor scoliosis so I try not to run too much, and I’ve found that Pilates and gyrotonics are really effective ways of staying in shape without doing too much high-impact cardio.”
Aside from this, she also enjoys outdoor activities. It’s also one of her ways in staying fit. She revealed: “I like to hike—there’s a beautiful hike up to the top of Multnomah Falls— about 1.25 miles—which may seem wimpy, but it’s so steep that by the time you make it to the top you NEED to take a rest and enjoy the view.”
