Biography:
Bobby Cannavale was born on May 3, 1970 in Union City, New Jersey. He began acting at age eight in a school play. This began to spark his interest towards acting. He started his professional acting career in his later life in New York, by appearing on theater. In the mid 1990s, he began appearing in movies, such as in Gloria and The Bone Collector. From 1998 to 2001, he became known for his role on the TV series Third Watch.
He’s had roles in numerous other shows following this, such as on 100 Centre Street, Ally McBeal, and Kingpin. He was also noticed for his role in the movie The Station Agent. Subsequently, he appeared in the films Shall We Dance?, Snakes on a Plane, 10 Items or Less, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. From 2004 to 2006, he was famous for his role as Vince on Will & Grace, which got him a Primetime Emmy nomination. In the late 2000s, he had a recurring role on Cold Case and was later acclaimed for his performances on Boardwalk Empire and Nurse Jackie.
