Brandon Routh is an American actor who had his major breakthrough as Clark Kent/Superman in the 2006 feature film Superman Returns. His resemblance to former Superman actor Christopher Reeves helped him in landing the coveted role. Though the film was not as successful as its predecessor, it was enough to expose the actor to mainstream audience. He continued acting in much less known feature films and only returned to spotlight after landing the part of Ray Palmer/Atom on the television series Arrow. After appearing as a recurring character on the said show, he reprised this character, this time as part of the main cast on the spin-off Legends of Tomorrow.
