Biography:
Brett Dalton was born on January 7, 1983 in San Jose, California, United States. Following his high school graduation, he attended University of California, Berkeley. He later finished his MFA from Yale University. He made his acting debut in 2007 when he appeared in a pilot called Nurses. Three years later, he acted in the short film titled 1:00am Games.
He later guest-starred in the shows Blue Bloods and Army Wives. In 2013, he portrayed Robert Todd Lincoln in the TV movie Killing Lincoln. From 2013 to 2017, he became known for his portrayal of Grant Ward & Hive in the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. For his role here, he won the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV: Male Breakout Star. In 2014, he made his film debut in Beside Still Waters. More recently, he played the titular role in the 2017 movie The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.
