Brian Benben is an American actor. He started his acting career in the 1980s, debuting as Michael Lasker in the TV series The Gangster Chronicles. He reprised his role in the 1981 film Gangster Wars. He later starred as Dr. Mark Doyle in the TV show Kay O’Brien. In the 1990s, he became best known for starring as Martin Tupper in the television series Dream On. Around this time, he also had performances in the films Dark Angel and Radioland Murders. In 1998, he starred in his own television program The Brian Benben Show. He continued his work in the 2000s, starring as Dr. Heywood Klein in the crime drama Kingpin. Later, Benben starred as Dr. Sheldon Wallace in Private Practice.
