Brían F. O’Byrne is an Irish actor who debuted in the TV series Joe Forrester during the ’70s. However, he only became active in the 2000s. During this period, he had roles in the films An Everlasting Piece, Bandits, Disco Pigs, Easy, Intermission, Million Dollar Baby, The New World, Bug, and No Reservations. On TV, he played Padraig Connolly in 3 episodes of Oz. He later became known for his role as Colin in Brotherhood and Aaron Stark in FlashForward. In the 2010s, he portrayed Bert Pierce in the HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce. He next starred as Detective Reg Duffy in the short-lived show Prime Suspect. Afterward, he starred as D.I. Mick Moynihan in Love/Hate and Ken Karn in the NBC series Aquarius. He currently stars as Auggie in the new series Nightflyers.
