Byron Mann is a Hong Kong-American actor. He started his career in the early 1990s, debuting in the film Ghost Ship. After roles in the films Possessed by the Night and Deadly Target, he portrayed Ryu in the 1994 film Street Fighter. He later appeared in the movies Crying Freeman, Red Corner, American Dragons, and The Corruptor. On TV, his first notable role was as Det. Matt Sung in Dark Angel. Following this, he had roles in the films Catwoman, Sniper 3, Shanghai Kiss, Blonde and Blonder, and A Dangerous Man. In the 2010s, he became further known for playing Yao Fei Gulong in Arrow, Chang in Hell on Wheels, Evan Ong in Blood and Water, Adm. Nguyen in The Expanse, and O.G. Kovacs in Altered Carbon. His most recent role was as Uncle Six in Netflix’s Wu Assassins. Also, Mann had performances in the films The Big Short, Skyscraper, and Don’t Let Go.
