She later made guest appearances on the TV shows Nashville, Glee, Southland, and Twisted. Her first recurring role was as Mason on the show Hit the Floor. In 2014, she began playing the recurring character of Hayley Heinz on the family drama series The Fosters. She later played Becca Arrington in the film Paper Towns, as well as appeared in the feature film Rules Don’t Apply. As of 2017, she also plays Muffy Tuttle on the show Dear White People.
