Biography:

Caitlin Fitzgerald was born in 1983 in Camden, Maine, U.S.. Being interested in acting, she enrolled at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts to train. She continued her training at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. After studying to become an actress, she went on to appear in such films as Love Simple, It’s Complicated, Damsels in Distress, and Newlyweds.

Being a filmmaker, she starred and co-wrote the 2012 independent movie Like the Water. That same year, she starred in the film The Fitzgerald Family Christmas. In 2013, she gained further recognition as an actress after being cast for the role of Libby Masters on the television series Masters of Sex, a character she still portrays up to present.
