Biography:

Callan McAuliffe was born on January 24, 1995 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He began acting when he was eight, appearing in local Australian television shows such as Blue Water High and Packed to the Rafters.

In 2010, he made his American film debut with Rob Reiner’s Flipped, playing the role of Bryce Loski. He auditioned for the film while on a vacation in the United States and was eventually cast as the male lead.

The following year, he played the role of Sam Goode in the science fiction film I Am Number Four. He gained wider fame when he played the young Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby.
