Carly Pope was born on August 28, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She started getting interested in acting during her high school years. She appeared in various stage plays at her school. She began her professional career in 1996 with a role in a short film. She then appeared in the TV movies Principal Takes a Holiday and I’ve Been Waiting for You.

Her first notable role was as Sam McPherson on the TV series Popular. On the other hand, she made her film debut in 1998’s Disturbing Behavior. After Popular, she joined the main cast of the short-lived series The Collector. She went on to have recurring parts on Dirt and 24. She continued her career in the 2010s with notable performances on Outlaw and Suits.
