Carrie-Anne Moss is a Canadian actress whose career in the acting industry began on television with the American series Dark Justice in the early 1990s, after which was followed by the Canadian series Matrix and was eventually recognized for starring on the TV series Models Inc.. It was, however, her role as Trinity in the 1999 film The Matrix that earned her international recognition. She went on to reprise her role in the sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. Prior to going back to the sequels, she also made notable performances in the films Chocolat, Memento, and Red Planet. In the late 2000s, she appeared in the films Disturbia and Silent Hill: Revelation. She also became active again on the small screen with roles on Chuck, Vegas, Crossing Lines, and now stars on Jessica Jones.
