Biography:
Casey Affleck was born on August 12, 1975 in Falmouth, Massachusetts, U.S.. He’s the younger brother of actor Ben Affleck. He studied politics for a year at the George Washington University. He then transferred to Columbia University to study physics, astronomy, and Western philosophy, but he didn’t graduate. His movie debut was in 1995’s To Die For.
He later gained recognition for his roles in Chasing Amy, Good Will Hunting, as well as for his performance as Virgil Malloy in Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen. He was then acclaimed for his role as Robert Ford in the film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor, followed by Gone Baby Gone. He also appeared as Tom in Interstellar.
