Biography:

Casper Van Dien was born on December 18, 1968 in Milton, Florida, USA. Following his high school graduation, he attended Florida State University in Tallahassee. He later relocated to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. In 1990, he made his debut with a small role in the TV film Menu for Murder. His first notable role was as Tyler “Ty” Moody in the soap opera One Life to Live from 1993 to 1994.

He next appeared as Griffin Stone in Beverly Hills, 90210. He also portrayed James Dean in the TV movie James Dean: Race with Destiny. From 2000 to 2001, he played Chandler Williams in the show Titans. His next role was as Andre Forester in Watch Over Me. In the movies, he first became known as Johnny Rico in 1997’s Starship Troopers. He also played the title role in 1998’s Tarzan and the Lost City. More recently, he played the titular character in the movie Star Raiders: The Adventures of Saber Raine.
