Biography:

Cassidy Freeman was born on April 22, 1982 in Chicago, Illinois. She began acting in the mid 2000s by starring in a few short films. In 2007, she made her film debut in the indie movie Finishing the Game: The Search for a New Bruce Lee. Her career took off in 2008 after landing the role of Tess Mercer in Smallville, where she became a regular cast from seasons 8 to 10.

Simultaneously, she appeared in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and starred in the 2010 movie YellowBrickRoad. In the 2010s, she landed guest roles in CSI: NY, The Playboy Club, and CSI: Miami, as well as a recurring role as Sage in The Vampire Diaries. Since 2012, she’s been a regular cast, playing Cady Longmire on the TV series Longmire, which was cancelled but was taken by other network, thus, getting renewed for a fourth season.
